Guaranteed Tuition Plan
UTEP's Guaranteed Tuition Plan is simple: It guarantees that your tuition and mandatory fees will not increase for four consecutive years from the date of your initial enrollment as long as you meet the pre-set criteria.
You pay a pre-determined amount per semester credit hour this year, next year and the two remaining years of your college career. It never changes.
No more wondering what your education will cost. The Guaranteed Tuition Plan provides you and your family stability and predictability, and helps you better plan for the cost of your education.
Eligibility
The Guaranteed Tuition Plan is open to freshmen entering UTEP in the Fall semester who qualify for Texas resident tuition.
By participating in the plan, you agree to:
- Enroll in a minimum of 15 semester credit hours of college-level work for the fall semester
- Complete at least 30 semester credit hours of college-level work each academic year
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 throughout your college career
